Les Baux-de-Provence is one of the most picturesque village in France, set in a spectacular position atop a rocky outcrop. Not too far, in Fonvielle, is the windmill made famous by Alphonse Daudet's Lettres de mon moulin.
More representative of modern France is the Cruas Nuclear Power Station, one of the several Nuclear power plants located next to the Rhone River in France. Nuclear plants produce 87% of France's electricity (of which France is the world's largest net exporter).
