Mendocino is one of the most loved destinations on the North California coast. Cute wood frame buildings, many housing art galleries, are perched in a stunning headlands location, where cypress jut out into steep cliffs. The six-story, Point Arena Lighthouse was the fist in the US constructed in concrete.
