The 59 National Parks of the United States represent an extraordinary variety of pristine natural environements at the scale of a continent. This image collection is the result of a monumental project to photograph in depth each of the National Parks, using when possible a large format camera. In the summer of 2002, I became the first photographer to complete this project, by achieving the goal of visiting each of the existing US National Parks. This gallery currently contains more than 9000 pictures, making it an unique site on the web, but as this on-going work, new images and information will be added regularly. |
