Hana to Kipahulu

Reached after 50 miles (and almost as many bridges) of narrow and winding road, Hana's isolation had helped this small town retain it's traditional Hawaiian ways. There is a beautiful cove and red sand beach. The stretch of road from Hana to Kipahulu passes Oheo, the southern end of Haleakala National Park, a particularly lush and beautiful section. It ends up at the small village of Kipahulu, where the aviator Charles Lindberg is buried.
