The George Parks Highway is one of the most important roads in Alaska, linking the two largest cities in Alaska, Anchorage and Fairbanks. The Parks Highway also provides access to Denali National Park and Denali State Park. Some of the best easily accessible views of Denali are found from roadside pullouts between miles 135 and miles 162 of Parks Highway.
