Rothenburg, situated on the Romantic Road between Wurzburg and Dinkelsbhuhl, is considered by many to be the most beautiful small town of Germany. The harmony and authenticity of the medieval architecture is the result of a municipal law dating from the 19th. Rothenburg is 220km north-west of Munich, in Bavaria.
