Brentwood is mostly known as the home of the new Getty Museum, one of LA's main highlights. Even more impressive than the Getty art collection are the buildings that house them, designed by Richard Meier, who used a billion dollar budget to create with a superb hilltop complex. Combining curves and angles, the place has a great sense of light and openness. Admission to the museum is free, and takes place using a fun tram that takes you up the hill. The name Getty Museum is a trademark of the J. Paul Getty Trust. terragalleria.com is not affiliated with the J. Paul Getty Trust. There are restrictions on the use of images on this page. |
