Cambodia
Black and White pictures by QT Luong
Cambodia was in ancient times the brilliant gem and artistic leader of Southeast Asia. An heritage of those times, the temples of Angkor are one of the wonders of the world. The country is now trying to resurect its cultural traditions, rather than resort to quick development, to heal its recent tragedy of the Khmer Rouge genocide. This page illustrates in a 1999 journey from Phnom Penh to Angkor on fast boat through the wide Tonle Sap river.
