Lan Son

Lan Son is a town located close to the border with China (which is actually in Dong Dang, 18km to the north). In spite of its sleepy appearance, its position make it an important trading (and smuggling) center. The only visible sign of that might be the abondance of cheap manufactured goods in its Dong Kinh market, and the long truck lines at the border. On the west side of the town, the mountains contain a number of interesting caves.
