It is a lively and often chaotic place, where the narrow and dark side streets provide a glimpse into the life of its citizens, while the high concentration of 15th century churches provide a glimpse into its past. The numerous street-side eateries serve for only a few euros what is arguably the most authentic and best pizza in Italy, characterized by a very thin crust and a rich, flavorful tomato sauce.
