We are scheduled to visit mile marker 115 the last week of March. Your descriptions are the best guidance I’ve found on planning for this trip. Hope our trip (just a day trip from Fairbanks) goes just as well. We’re thinking of doing the rental from that specialized company as we are just there for 3 days.
