Damonoen Saduak, 104km Southwest of Bangkok, is a town with an extensive canal system, one of which is home to a hundred year old floating market. This is the floating market closest to Bangkok which has not been too affected by commercialization, although it is still a good idea to spend the night there to visit it before most of the tourists from Bangkok come.
